I miss the holidays already. For me, the time between Thanksgiving and New Year’s is about more than giving gifts. I like it so much because I get together with my family and friends so much more often than I normally do.
Mr. Patterson and I get to attend holiday parties with co-workers, have Ugly Sweater gatherings with friends, I bake holiday cookies with my mom, I get together with aunts, uncles, cousins and their kids whom I rarely, if ever. It’s a wonderful time where I get to see and do so much and I love it.
That’s what I miss, all of the together time with my family and friends. January is kind of depressing for me for two reasons. One, everyone goes home and I don’t see them for months, if not an entire year. There are no more family get-togethers or fun themed parties to go to for a while. And two, now I’ve got to pay all the bills for those gifts, meals out, and travel.

Two, this is a growing market. Literally billions of people are searching for information each day. In the era of smart phones, tablets and laptop computers people have access to information at the tip of their fingers. Just think about the last time you didn’t know how to do something or didn’t know the answer to a question. What did you do? Most likely you went online to find the answer. People are searching for information at an ever increasing rate. If you have the information that people are searching for then you can make money online at an insane pace!
Three, selling information requires the least amount of work. Think about how writers make money. They write a book, release it and get paid every time a copy is purchased. That’s the power of selling information. You create the product once, but continue to get paid months, years, even decades down the line. Even if you never write another word, you can still make money.
It’s unfortunate that having an online business gets a bad rap. People make it seem harder than it needs to be. All those worries you build up in your head, can scare you away from the idea of making money online. That’s especially sad when you hear just how much online business owners can make.
